it is gorgeous here. slow. sunny. hills. mediterranean sea.

jelly fish.

luckily we didnt figure out the hard way, but some other people did. i had hoped we would spend the day swimming today but luck was not on our side since the water was infested with jelly fish allllllll day long. we saw one guy get stung real bad. paige was able to play in the water a little on the boat launch as they didnt come near there at all, but no deep sea swimming and fish watching. :( still a lovely, lovely slow day.

the word for jelly fish in italian = medusa

oh. and the anchovies here escape description. if you are ever in the cinque terre and you have always wanted to try an anchovy but were afraid, do it here. so fresh, sooooo good.

    SO nice to hear from you! sounds like things have cooled down some for you! i could tell by talking to paige the other night that she was hot and not happy! she had that look on her face! :)
